Screen 2

Built in 1916, the Connaught 2 Screen (formally the Ritz) was originally called the Connaught Theatre until in 1935 when its repertory company left taking the name with them.  It was then largely redundant, although it hosted war time dances when it was given the name the Ritz Ball Room.  In 1995 it opened as a cinema, and in 1999 was extensively refurbished with new seating.

Capacity

  • 242 persons seated (fixed seats)

Disabled Facilities

Worthing Theatres regrets that at the current time access to the Screen 2 auditorium is via stairs and there is no facility for the hard of hearing.
