Hi-De-Hi!
Inspired by Jimmy Perry’s own time as a Butlins Redcoat after being demobbed from the Army, Hi-de-Hi is set in a 1950s Holiday Camp called ‘Maplins’. Hi-de-Hi is one of the best remembered TV sitcoms of all time which starred a whole host of muchloved characters during its nine series on the BBC in the 1980s.
The stage version has not been seen since it was last in the West End in 1984. This brand new and hilarious production will star Barry Howard & Nikki Kelly, who were in the original 1980s TV sitcom as Barry & Yvonne StuartHargreaves and the everpopular and very funny Damian Williams, who is the new presenter on Sky One’s Are You Smarter Than Your 10 Year Old?, as Ted Bovis.
