Brideshead Revisited (12A)
Based on the critically acclaimed novel by Evelyn Waugh, this new period film details the memoirs of Charles Ryder (Matthew Goode) as he recalls his past involvement with the aristocratic, yet devoutly Catholic, owners of the Brideshead estate. Ryder’s tempestuous, but intense previous relationships with upper class brother and sister, Sebastian (Ben Whishaw) and Julia (Hayley Atwell) have left their mark on him forever. Also starring Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon.
