This sequel to the 2005 Dreamworks cartoon finds the escaped zoo animals (Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo, plus those extraordinary penguins), finally leaving the island of Madagascar…only to find themselves stranded somewhere in Africa. There, Alex meets his long lost family, but has trouble communicating with then after so many years in captivity. Featuring the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, and Sacha Baron Cohen.
