Food and Drink

We cordially invite you to sit back, relax and experience the food and drink in the surroundings of the Denton Bar and Dining Room on the award-winning Worthing Pier.

The Denton is open daily, offering a menu that appeals to all from a set price Sunday Lunch menu and cream teas to a fantastic main menu and a special pre-show menu.  The stunning sea views are complemented with décor befitting a grand hotel or a cruise liner lounge with hand made Farrow & Ball wallpaper, Chesterfield style sofas and palm trees.

The Denton Bar has outdoor seating on the Pier where you can enjoy a range of food and drinks including Harvey’s Best, Australian Shiraz or a Fairtrade coffee and watch the sun go down seven days a week.

The food is traditional British and we use local suppliers such as Swandean Butchers and Kimptons Fruit and Vegetables. From April The Sussex Breakfast will be served from 10.30am and lunch from 11.30am. The daily specials include a selection of fresh fish, pies and roast dishes. Sunday Roast is served from 11.30am and The Denton Cream Tea is served daily in the lounge from 3.00pm.

We welcome families and group bookings in the bar and dining room including Birthday, Wedding and Corporate Events. It is also an ideal place to meet up before a performance, see below for our new set price menus.

Pre-show Dinner
Pre-show Dinner is available on shows at The Pavilion Theatre where you see this symbol  in the brochure. Book your sea view table in advance and get a great value one, two or three course menu from just £7.95.

The Sussex Breakfast
Locally sourced produce goes into making this the best breakfast in town. A minimum of 60% of the ingredients are from Sussex. Dine at The Denton and support your local producers!

Sunday Lunch
No-one can beat our sea views with the best Sunday lunch menu around! Choice of one, two or three courses from just £8.95. Booking is very advisable.

Alfresco & family dining
The Children’s Menu offers something for the little ones and in an ideal family environment. Great value menu at just £2.95 with all the usual favourites plus a few more too
