Terms and Conditions

1. Your Friends’ Membership Card must carry the signature of the Friend named on the card, and can only be used by that named Friend.

2. Your Friends’ Membership Card must be officially numbered with your patron number.

3. Friends’ membership is non-refundable.

4. Friends are obliged to inform Worthing Theatres of any change of status, address and telephone number.

5. Tickets can be purchased over the telephone or in person, but Friends discounts and offers do not apply to online bookings. Your Friends Membership Card number must be quoted in all correspondence and your membership card must be produced when purchasing or collecting tickets.

6. The Friends’ Membership Scheme is open to anyone over sixteen years of age.

7. Once a Worthing Theatre Friend’s membership has been purchased then the Friend is entitled to book tickets at the discounted rate for a period of 12 months from the purchase date (unless otherwise stated).
 
8. Your Friends’ Membership Card cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or concession. 10% Friends discount is applicable to full price adult ticket only.

9. Tickets, discounts and other special offers are all subject to availability and may be withdrawn.

10. All Friends of Worthing Theatres details will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act and will not be passed on to a third party.

11 The Friends’ Membership Scheme offers and discounts are available for live theatre and films, excluding shows listed as ‘H’ in the brochures and on the website and any other private hirers. Occasional exclusions apply to other non-hirer events when we are regrettably unable to offer a Friends 10% discount.

12. Friends’ discounts can only be applied to shows promoted by Worthing Theatres and cannot be used for shows being sold through ticket agencies.

13. Friends’ discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to tickets already purchased.

14. Friends will be entitled to purchase up to nine tickets for any one qualifying show or film at the discounted Friends rate and these will be recorded against your membership number.

15. Early or late offers, invitations to Friends social events will be organised as and when such opportunities arise and Friends will be contacted regarding these events at that time. Places at these events may be limited or subject to availability and Friends will be advised of these limits when the events are announced. Friends who have not booked places at events with a limited capacity may be refused admission. Worthing Theatres reserves the right to alter or cancel any such events at its discretion and without prior notice. However, if an event is cancelled all attempts will be made to inform Friends of that cancellation.
 
16. Discounts cannot be claimed at the ice cream kiosks in the auditoriums.

17. Denton Lounge, Assembly Hall and Fraser's Bar at the Connaught Theatre bar discounts can only be applied to the named card holder and applicable for up to 10 people.  Discounts are for the purchase of drinks and menu food but exclude confectionery, ice creams, cakes and pre-packed snack items such as crisps & peanuts. Children, or those who appear to be under 18 years of age, will not be served with alcoholic beverages unless suitable age verification can be produced.

18. Discounts cannot be claimed against show merchandise such as T-Shirts, CDs and programmes.

19. Worthing Theatres reserves the right to reject an application for Friends membership or to terminate a Friends membership at any time due to reason of misconduct or unacceptable behaviour by a Friend while on Worthing Theatres’ premises. In the event that Worthing Theatres terminates a Friends membership in accordance with this clause, no refund will be given to that member for the cost of their membership for any remaining period of their membership.
     
20. Friends will receive a regular newsletter, which will give updates on events, shows and other relevant information from Worthing Theatres and related sponsors, plus partner businesses.
 
21. Friends’ personal information and contact details will not be shared with any of our Friends scheme sponsors or partner businesses.

22. Worthing Theatres is in no way recommending or endorsing the services or products provided by any company or organisation sponsoring Worthing Theatre Friends Scheme. Worthing Theatres can in no way be held responsible for any disputes that may arise between any Friends and any of our Friends scheme sponsors or partner businesses.

23. Your Friends membership card must be shown at the Friends Business partners to receive their offer. Please check the Worthing Theatres website for all current offers. Business partners reserve the right to withdraw offers.

24. Any company or organisation sponsoring Worthing Theatres reserves the right to refuse admittance or service to any customer as per their operating policies.
