Nicola Benedetti, one of the most exciting young violinists in the world, returns to Worthing to play one of the greatest violin concertos of all time by the great Ludwig van Beethoven.
A capricious light-hearted overture by Rossini whets the appetite while Mendelssohn’s great evocation of warm sunny Italy is the sumptuous finale.
The musical feast is capped off by Borodin’s beautiful Nocturne which is skillfully woven into the classic 1955 film Kismet.
Nicola Benedetti has captured audiences and critics alike with her and poise. In recent seasons she has performed with almost all of the UK and Ireland’s major symphony orchestras and as word of her immense musicality and ability to reach audiences has spread, she has received invitations to work with orchestras all over the world.

“It was thrilling to hear and watch Nicola Benedetti in a truly risk-taking performance that lived so much in the body and fused the sinews of the violin and the nerve-system of the player.” - The Times Book Online
