The Professional Orchestra of West Sussex, established in 1926, was Britain's first municipal orchestra. Our growing reputation for high quality performances reflects well on our distinguished history, the enlightened support of Worthing Borough Council and the enthusiasm of the Symphony Society, our audience-based support organisation.
