All who heard the 7th Worthing Youth Prom were staggered by the standard and commitment of the West Sussex County Youth Orchestra. No-one should miss these talented youngsters performing the Viexutemps Violin Concerto with soloist Boris Brovtsyn. Rarely does a performer get such a reception from the audience before he plays his concerto, as Boris received at the final concert of last season.
Boris Brovtsyn was born in Moscow in 1977. He entered the famous Central Music School in 1984 and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in 1994 before becoming a student of Maya Glezarova at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He graduated in 1999 and has since then enjoyed a dazzling international career performing concertos with many of the great orchestras of the world.
