at the Assembly Hall

The Wurlitzer is the largest in Europe, is broadcast regularly on BBC Radio 2 The Organist Entertains programme and is well known and popular world wide. There was also a recent broadcast on BBC Radio 3 Music Matters. It is the only entertainment in Worthing that is broadcast regularly and many CDs have been made and sold worldwide.
The organ opened in 1981 after an extensive restoration programme of 5 years and has been refined over the years to its present state of excellence.
The organ is played regularly throughout the year by outstanding national and international organists.
